DockMultiplier is a simple application that allows you to use multiple Dock Menu settings.

The application has a simple interface that provides you several Dock settings. You can customize the position on the screen, the minimize effect, the pinning position, the Dock size and magnification size, the animation when opening the applications and an option that automatically hides or shows the Dock Menu.

You can also set the Expose. The program has fewer options for Expose than the dedicated preference pane from the 'System Preferences' utility.

The reason why this application is called DockMultipier is the fact that all these settings can be saved as separate profiles. If you would like to change the Dock settings quickly without losing the old setup, then this application is the solution to this kind of issue.

Most of the functionality is provided from the user interface. The application has a 'Preferences' panel, but it includes only a single option which allows the application to automatically change the profiles when you select one of them. This panel is rather unusable as it doesn't provide a 'Cancel' or 'Close' button. You need to toggle the activation/deactivation status of this feature if you would like to make the panel go away and let you use DockMultiplier.

Pluses: it allows you to use profiles for the Dock menu settings, it allows you to include the Expose settings to these profiles.

Drawbacks / flaws: unusable design of the small 'Preferences' panel.

In conclusion: this application is quite useful if you need to change the setup of your Dock Menu without losing your original configuration.
